garden and play lawn. Also the 19th-century farmhouse, the later
home of the Bewick family, which houses an exhibition on Bewicks
life and work and a small shop selling prints from Bewicks

Amen Corner next to St Nicholas's Cathedral in the city
of Newcastle upon Tyne is the site of Bewick's main workshop,
where the bulk of his work was created. For further information

Bewick's Apprentices
This lists the main workshop apprentices involved in the
wood-engraving side of the work, with their dates as far as
may be known. They include close relatives of Thomas Bewick.
