The Bewick Society is compiling a contacts list for those who wish to acquire further information about Thomas Bewick and his work. The list below will be extended in due course.

The Bewick Society

The Society has a world-wide membership, but is most strongly based in the north-east region of England. The President is Dr Frank Atkinson, CBE. The Society elects a Chairman and Committee each year in September at the Annual General Meeting held in Newcastle upon Tyne. The current Chairman is Hugh Dixon.

Cherryburn - National Trust

Cherryburn - The National Trust

Cherryburn is the birthplace of Thomas Bewick. Located at Station Bank, Mickley, near Stocksfield, in Northumberland, it is now owned by the National Trust and is open to visitors from Spring to Autumn. Members of the Bewick Society have free entrance when they show their membership cards.
